Membership Officer - Manual Event Check-in

This page is instructions on how to check-in a chapter member to an event in the past or for when they have volunteered for points.

  1. Find the Event on the calendar and click on it.
  2. Hover over the "Edit" button and look at the bottom where it shows the link info, note the "Node" number.
  3. You will also need their national HOG ID number.  You can use the member search to search by name to get that.
  4. Hover over the "Content" menu and then "Add content" and click on "Event checkin"
  5. Enter a title for the check-in (it can be Bob April Gathering...content really doesn't matter).
  6. Body can be empty.
  7. In the Event area, start typing the event name (i.e. Chapter Gathering...choose the right event...you may need to try a couple of times to get the one that has the correct node number.)
  8. Enter the member's national ID number.
  9. Click Save.
  10. After click Save, if it is successful there will be a confirmation at the top of the screen.
  11. To confirm, open the event from the calendar and confirm they are on the checked in list.
  12. You can also confirm that it shows up in the member's user check-ins by click on the View button from above and then the "Check-ins" tab.
